The Sony HKCU-SM100 CCU extension adaptor allows you to easily convert the cable format between the camera head and CCU – from SMPTE fibre to a single mode fibre (SMF) cable.
This in turn allows you to extend the distance between camera and CCU by up to 10km.
The CCU extension adaptor’s SMF cable can carry video and audio (INCOM, MIC) signals from the camera to the CCU, and return video, prompter video and audio (INCOM, PGM) signals from the CCU to the camera.
