The Fujinon UA27 4K lens is ideally suited to studio use or to live events and sports production.

It produces breathtaking 4K images that are “exceptionally clear, vibrant and optically accurate,” according to Tom Fletcher, Director of Sales for the Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM.

The addition of the Fujinon UA27 to our range of 4K broadcast lenses further expands our Fujinon line-up. This also includes the UA14 and UA22 ENG lenses and the UA80 and UA107 lenses. It is part of our commitment to becoming the leading provider of 4K broadcast hire equipment. We now boast one of the largest 4K hire fleets in the world, including Europe’s largest fleet of Sony HDC-4300 4K camera channels.

Fujinon UA27 perfect for studio, events and sports broadcasting

Pairing the Fujinon UA27 with the Sony HDC-4300 or Grass Valley LDX 86N gives you a fantastic camera and lens combination for UHD live production. With a focal range of 6.5-180mm (13-360mm with the built-in 2x extender), the UA27 is bound to be popular for studio work such as light entertainment shows. It is also sure to be a mainstay of sports production for football and rugby, positioned on the halfway line.

Fujinon technology delivers stunning 4K image quality

The UA27 upgrades the HD HA27 FOR UHD live production and utilises the same operating system as its predecessor. It boasts high contrast, high resolution and high dynamic range characteristics. And it employs Fujinon’s High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating (HT-EBC). This boosts the lens’ blue response and transmittance and delivers richer colours.

Combined with FUJIFILM’s exclusive Aspheric Technology, this coating also helps to improve light transmission and reduces lens flare and ghosting.

Fujinon’s latest optical simulation technology tackles the aberration and resolution issues that are inherent around the edges of any lens. This means the  UA27 delivers 4K image quality throughout its zoom range. A nine-blade aperture design, meanwhile, gives you a natural, rounded bokeh.
